Inventing a cooperative game and inventing a coop mode to an existing adversarial game are two different animals. New Jack City's cards are basically just a city building system. So inventing a cooperative mode of play should be no big deal. Right?

The two major motifs that have been resurfacing through this design phase are: Do all the cooperating players work together as one 'god' character? How much autonomy does a player need in their turn so that they feel like they are adding to the group?
